St. Edmund's Anglican Church

"Where Traditional is Not Old-Fashioned" Upholding the Faith since 1874

Guestbook

A Note of Explanation

The expansion of wordwide communication through the internet is a great
leap forward in expediting the dissemination of accurate and important
information.

In a fallen and sinful world, however, there will always be those that take
advantage of beneficial advancements for less than beneficial purposes.

The recent trend in unsolicited (and often unedifying) computer-generated,
impersonal and often insalubrious messages in web page guestbooks
necessitates an adjustment in our guestbook protocol.

We sincerely want to hear from those interested in the ministry of St.
Edmund's Anglican Church. Please continue to send us your comments,
suggestions, and ideas. In order to post comments, however, we
respectfully ask you to take just a moment and join our web page as
a Member.

The membership provides anonymity and only requests age and gender
information to prevent fraudulent "mass sign-ups" by unscrupulous
marketers. St. Edmund's Anglican Church will neither contact you
unless requested nor share any information with another organizations,
institution, or corporation.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and ask for your continued prayers
for our ministry and the triumph of righteous over the spirit of this age.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you this wonderful season!!!   I'd like to ask forgiveness from the congregation, for hurtful things I have spoken in the past.  I have matured in my walk w. Jesus much over the years.  I am so thankful that you remain true to the Word of God, when so many think we can discard it.

First on my priority list my next trip to Milw. - visit St. Edmunds!!!!!

Happy St. Edmund's Day everyone. I went to your web site, tried to view the Arrow for Sept and for Nov........neither became visable. Your calendar has nothing about St. Edmund's Day or any other special day....????? I don't recognize anyone in the photos........but love the photos of the church. Blessings to you.

My husband and I are planning a move to Nashotah in mid-August. He will be in seminary there. We plan to visit your church as we are from a CANA church, too. I understand that Roger Ames is your Bishop. He is also ours down here in Garland. We look forward to meeting you!

Dear Folks,
We at Christ the Redeemer in Garland, Texas (CANA) took the step you have now taken over 2 years ago. It was very difficult and heart-wrenching, but I know I could never go back to TEC as it is today. If you need encouragement that what you did was right, read Robert Lundy's report from General Convention on BabyBlueOnline. Remain together in unity of spirit. God bless you.

So happy to read in JS that St. Edmunds broke from the Episcopal Church and is Anglican. Sad to hear Fr. Olmstead passed onto his eternal home in heaven. He meant a lot to me when I was a member.

I've attended 9:00 am Mass the past two Sundays and appreciate the orthodoxy. I'll visit again soon.

HI folks, I'm now in Hastings, MN and live close to my sister and all my nieces & nephews in the St. Paul area. This diocese is decidedly low church However, I've discovered St. Paul's on-the-hill Episcopal Church, in St. Paul, which has a long tradition of high church lliturgy. I can't get there every Sunday, but I was able to attend their Solumn Eucharist of the Epiphany - it was glorious! - like seeing a bit of heaven. Hope to get there for Candlemas Eve. Peace & prayers for all, Tok

I really like the St. Edmund picture; will some history of him be added?
